I have been raising Mini Rex rabbits since 2002, striving for perfection by breeding as close to my interpretation of the standard as possible. My goals as a breeder are to:
1) produce show quality, highly competitive Mini Rex with superior conformation
2) keep the herd as healthy and disease-free as possible
3) conduct business as ethically and morally as I know how
4) offer my experience and help to other breeders, old and new
5) HAVE FUN!!!
The first four goals are all important, but I believe that when someone stops enjoying their hobby, it's time to move on to something new.
UPDATE: Since March 2006 we have also begun to get into the club calf business. Our first calf crop will be on the ground this fall out of Ali, Cowboy Troy, Seabiscuit, Power Plus, and our 1407 son. The bloodlines in our herd include Cunia, Heat Wave, EXT, Popeye, Warhorse, and Power Plus to name a few.
Also, I finally graduated in December 2006 with a BS in Animal Science. Whoop!
